Megazip Adventure Park has been accredited with satisfying all required international safety standards for operation of an attraction of this type. In addition, they have been assessed by the independent engineering firm, Jacobs Engineering (UK), who concluded that they satisfied all safety standards required by Singapore’s Public Entertainment Licensing Unit (PELU).
Critical safety components have been sourced from Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Australia, USA and New Zealand.
On MegaZip, the ZipR™ is the newly patented zip wire trolley from which participants are suspended. Commissioned by Flying Dragon Adventures and developed by Australian engineering company State Engineering, it features a unique proprietary system which facilitates both exhilarating zip speeds and a gentle soft landing on extremely steep zip lines.
To advise on construction and safety, Megazip Adventure Park commissioned industry leaders Matt Scott and Kent Marchant of Vertical Innovations in Australia. Well renowned for keeping people safe at work and at play throughout Australasia, Matt and Kent teamed up with the Megazip crew to provide a safe, efficient and unique ride.
On all adventures at the Park, guests are securely fastened from start to finish in a custom fitted body harness. This harness is attached to a safety wire that follows a continuous path around the course. The safety wire ensures that should a guest fall, their drop is minimal and they can comfortably sit in their harness for as long as required.
Megazip Adventure Park employs fully trained experts who ensure that guests are harnessed correctly, fully briefed on the safety elements of the Park and conducting themselves in the appropriate manner while using the equipment.
Rescue systems are in place and will be used at the discrimination of the Site Supervisor.
Of course, after we have ensured the safest conditions possible, remember safety is something that happens between your ears, not something you hold in your hands. ![]()
